Marc Bory appointed as new CEO at IRIS

Louvain-la-Neuve – 2nd of July 2019 – IRIS, member of the Canon Group and leader in Information Management, announced earlier today that Marc Bory has taken on the role of CEO.

Marc Bory replaces Hubert Bro, who after four years of successful growth hands over the reins and returns to France to take on a new mission at Canon.

Bory, engineer in IT and Telecommunications, previously held roles in Consulting and as Managing Director for companies in the IT Manufacturing and Service Provider industry.  He joined Canon EMEA in 2006 where he succeeded in building out the Output Management and Information Management business across Europe.

The new CEO remains in his role as European DS Solutions Senior Director at Canon EMEA, and so this appointment is in addition to his current responsibilities.

By maintaining his European position, Marc will be able to strengthen the synergies between our Canon solution and cloud services business and IRIS, and drive the Information Management Business development to a new level of expansion”, says Taz Nakamasu, Executive Vice-President of Document Solutions at Canon EMEA.“

Under the guidance of Hubert Bro, IRIS Group has been able to grow year on year in a profitable way. During his 4 year mandate, Hubert has streamlined the global organization and invested in a new on-demand environment, preparing the company for a next phase of its development.  This should support Marc in realizing the future plans of IRIS “, Nakamasu concludes.
