Function

Tasks:

  • Development and implementation of AI-supported software solutions
  • Design, programming and maintenance of algorithms for machine learning and data analysis
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and improve innovative products
  • Carrying out code reviews and ensuring best practices in software development
  • Analysis and optimisation of existing systems to improve efficiency and performance
  • Documentation of development processes and technical specifications
  • Participation in technical discussions and training to promote AI competences in the team
  • Quality-conscious work: Demonstrate commitment to quality-orientated work in an agile team, contributing to the overall success of the software development cycle.
  • Location: Aachen (Germany)

Qualifications and skills:

  • Degree in computer science, mathematics or comparable qualification
  • Sound expert knowledge in programming (VB .NET, C#, C++)
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, including at least 2 years in the field of artificial intelligence
  • Sound knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java or C++
  • Experience with common AI frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Familiarity with database technologies and big data (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop)
  • Knowledge of agile development tools and processes (Jira, Git, Jenkins)
  • Understanding of CI/CD (a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
  • Very good knowledge of German or French
  • Ability to work in a team and commitment
