Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) DevOps – Aachen

Function

Tasks:

  •   Development and maintenance of software solutions in VB .NET, C# and C++
  •   Implementation of DevOps practices to automate and optimise software delivery
  • Support of the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) process
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify functional requirements and develop technical solutions
  • Carrying out code reviews and ensuring software quality through tests and documentation
  • Identification and elimination of technical problems and bugs
  •  Support in the technical planning and architecture of software projects
  • Location: Aachen (Germany)

Qualifications and skills:

  •  Degree in computer science, mathematics or comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on VB .NET, C# and C++
  •  Experience with DevOps tools and methods (e.g. Docker, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation of build and deployment processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  •  Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
  • Very good knowledge of German or French
  • Ability to work in a team and commitment
