Brampton, Ontario – September 30, 2025 – IRIS, a Canon Group subsidiary since 2013, has entered into a strategic distribution agreement with Canon Canada Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions. This partnership will make IRIS scanners and Readiris software available to Canadian customers through Canon Canada’s online store.

The agreement includes the following innovative IRIS products:
- IRISPen Reader 8 – Designed for students with dyslexia and learning disabilities, this assistive tool scans and converts printed text into accessible digital formats.
- IRISPen Air 8 – A portable scanning pen offering instant text conversion, translation, and reading assistance.
- IRIScan Visualizer 7 Dyslexic – Bundled with Readiris Dyslexic software for text-to-speech, word repetition, and PDF-to-editable conversion.
- IRIScan Desk 6 Pro – A 13MP camera scanner capable of scanning A3 color pages in under one second.
- IRIScan Desk 7 Business – High-resolution scanning powered by a 24MP sensor for books, documents, and even 3D objects.
- IRIScan Anywhere 6 WiFi Duplex – A compact, portable scanner with OCR software for converting documents into Word, PDF, and Excel formats.
