Channel Sales Manager DACH & NORDICS (m/f/d)


Are you ready to jump into action as part of our strong sales department? Look no further! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Sales Manager to join our talented workforce at IRIS.

Function

Your daily job:

  • Active Distributor Management: Manage existing partners, distributors, resellers & onliners (up tp 40%)
  • B2B Partner Identification: Identify potential partners and evaluate their suitability for the company’s products or services. (up to 60%), e.g. education sector, government sector bids/tenders, healthcare, financial services, etc.
  • Channel Partner Acquisition: Acquire and onboard new channel partners to expand the company’s distribution network.
  • Partner Training: Provide training and resources to channel partners to ensure they understand the products and can effectively sell them.
  • Sales Target Setting: Collaborate with partners to set achievable sales targets and objectives in line with company goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously track partner performance, analyze sales metrics, and provide feedback to optimize results.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with channel partners to foster loyalty and cooperation.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop channel-specific marketing campaigns and materials.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt channel strategies.
  • Inventory Distributor Management: Coordinate with partners and internal teams to ensure adequate product availability to meet demand, consolidate inventory of each partner, share through the company.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts between partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Pipeline Management: Monitor sales pipelines of partners and assist in closing deals by providing necessary support.
  • Forecasting: Forecast sales projections and inventory requirements based on market dynamics and partner performance.
  • Incentive Programs: Design and implement incentive programs to motivate partners to achieve sales targets.
  • Negotiations: Lead negotiations with partners on pricing, terms, and contractual agreements.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from partners about market trends, customer needs, and product improvements.

Requirements

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in managing partners in the scanner industry and PDF/OCR-Software.
  • Strong hands-on-mentality and willingness to jump into action right away
  • Proven track record in a sales operations organization in a software or other technology company.
  • Thorough understanding of B2B sales processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Business Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication skills
  • Other languages are a plus
