Function

Your mission?

As part of a team of 8 members young and dynamic with a structured way of working, valuing teamwork and collaborative thinking:

  • ·         You will develop, maintain and bring evolutions to the iDRS™ SDK:
  • o   Understand a user story, and create a technical design based on it
  • o   Implement a technical design – including unit tests and integration tests, cross-compilation on 5 platforms, using the team’s coding style and tools
  • o   Draft the toolkit’s documentation, relating to the above stages, collaborate with technical writers
  • o   Maintain the code: bug fixing, refactoring, improvements, new features
  • o   Actively participate in the product and the team’s life: propose features, innovate, give your opinion on the future of the toolkit or the way the team works
  • ·         You will support key partners and customers to help them integrate our toolkit:
  • o   See the product from a customer’s point of view
  • o   Understand customer’s needs, their user stories
  • o   Help them via different ways: propose ideas, provide code snippets, investigate issues, animate remote debug sessions
  • ·         You will report on the progress of your activities to the team and its stakeholders, via the team’s task board and during meetings (dailies, reviews, etc).

Your qualifications and skills?

Education & experience:

  • ·         Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer/Engineering Science
  • ·         At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge required:

  • ·         Thorough experience in object-oriented programming using C++ language
  • ·         At least one of the following languages: Java or C#
  • ·         Development tools: Visual Studio – CMake – gcc/g++
  • ·         Unit-testing framework: CppUnit, NUnit
  • ·         At least two of the following systems: Windows / Linux / macOS
  • ·         SCM: Git
  • ·         Fluent in English.

Assets:

  • ·         Automation tools: Ant, Jenkins pipeline
  • ·         Collaboration: Jira, Confluence
  • ·         Experience in image processing and/or pattern recognition
  • ·         Experience in the following methodologies: Agile development – test driven development – continuous integration
