Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) – Aachen

Function

Tasks:

  • Continuous improvement: Ongoing improvements to “IRISXtract for documents” using C# and C++ skills.
  • Support Lead Architects: Work closely with lead architects to provide support and contribute to the strategic direction of software development projects.
  • Cloud platform transformation: Play a key role in the transformation of existing software to our new cloud platform, utilising your C#, C++ and Linux skills.
  • Agile development: Take an active part in agile development processes and use tools such as Jira, Git and Jenkins for efficient and collaborative workflows.
  • Quality-conscious work: Demonstrate commitment to quality-orientated work in an agile team, contributing to the overall success of the software development cycle.
  • Location: Aachen (Germany)

Qualifications and skills:

  • Degree in computer science or comparable qualification
  • Sound expert knowledge in programming (VB .NET, C#, C++)
  • Knowledge in the area of cloud computing
  • Knowledge of agile development tools and processes (Jira, Git, Jenkins)
  • Understanding of CI/CD (a plus)
  • Object- and component-orientated development
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
  • Very good knowledge of German or French
  • Ability to work in a team and commitment
