NEW AG’s goal is ambitious: the regional energy supplier has set itself the target of becoming a digital flagship company by 2025. A key milestone on the way to achieving this goal is the digitalization of incoming and outgoing mail. NEW is relying on hardware and software from Canon to achieve this. The results are impressive: The remaining paper-based processes are now handled centrally, and documents are simply delivered digitally instead of being collected and transported manually.

Headquartered in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate, ATU operates around 550 branches in Germany and Austria. The approximately 10,000 employees generate sales of around one billion euros every year.

IRISXtract™ in the healthcare sector

SANIMED was founded in 1983 and is active in the field of healthcare management. The company has a total of 25 locations, employs 600 people nationwide and has twelve subsidiaries. Since leaving the Hartmann Group in 2020, SANIMED was faced with a new challenge due to a restructuring in the IT department and had to issue a call for tender to equip the Scan Center. IRISXtract™ was able to win the new tender and help SANIMED to better manage the digital mailroom.

Franke, the world’s leading provider of intelligent systems for domestic kitchens, has chosen an automated purchase order system from HENRICHSEN and IRIS. The installation, in use since September 2011, captures and processes almost 400,000 pages of purchase orders at Franke every year.

Processing Purchase Invoices

DOUGLAS Group with its subsidiaries Douglas, Thalia, Christ, Appelrath-Küpper and Hussel belongs to the leading trading companies in Europe. Showcase project in the area of automated invoice processing: In 2002 it started with automatic capturing of 250,000 accounts payable receipts per year at Thalia bookshops and was developed to a capture solution for nearly all divisions of DOUGLAS Group.
