The Canon Delivery Center in Prague is an outsourcing center for automated document processing, founded in 2007. Since then they have processed over 15 million pages of documents each year. These documents are most often invoices as they are specialized in Accounts Payable outsourcing.
Their services are used by customers from more than 28 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The sectors that most frequently enlist Canon’s services are: finance, logistics and services. Major clients include, for example, Allianz, DB Schenker or Carrier. Within the framework of Europe, in cooperation with foreign affiliates, it provides services for, for example, the ÖBB Austrian carrier or the CBRE Group.
The process starts when the paper and digital invoices are received at the Canon scanning center. There, invoice data is extracted with IRISXtract™, verified and imported to the customer’s accounting system.
