As the successor to Décolletage AG established in 1916, Grenchen-based Ypsotec has a long and rich history in turning long parts. In the last 15 years, the company has enlarged its scope of services to include turning short parts, milling, laser engraving, laser welding and module assembly. The company makes CNC-turned parts and milled components at sites in Switzerland and the Czech Republic. To reduce manual employee effort, consistently follow specified processes and minimise errors, invoice processing has been digitalised following successful digitalisation of contract management. The main goal was to capture invoices with IRISXtract™ quickly in a central location, process them efficiently and book them automatically, both at the headquarters in Switzerland and in another location in the Czech Republic.

Working with Canon was very easy. We had the issue and Canon had the expertise, software and the knowhow. The initial phase, managing the post, was extended to automatically capture, classify and export emails. As the volume of applications being received via email increased considerably due to the Covid-19 pandamic. Canon were the natural choice. We now enjoy a long standing, strong relationship and look forward to expanding our intelligent data capture across other areas of National Medical Card Unit.

SANIMED was founded in 1983 and is active in the field of healthcare management. The company has a total of 25 locations, employs 600 people nationwide and has twelve subsidiaries. Since leaving the Hartmann Group in 2020, SANIMED was faced with a new challenge due to a restructuring in the IT department and had to issue a call for tender to equip the Scan Center. IRISXtract™ was able to win the new tender and help SANIMED to better manage the digital mailroom.
